It mixes fascinating information about the area with the ache of promise-gone-wrong, of crumbling civilization and people's connection to the land. even a poisoned land.

And though we've largely forgotten Chernobyl--for it's not news-sexy--we are reminded that it is merely a dormant volcano. The reactor core is still hot, waiting for the right conditions to come along again...
